And an actual geek. A real live geek. Like Chuck from that show Chuck! :D Not only can he fix my computer, but he can kiss.. AND geek out with me about Lord of the Rings! *cue scene from 17 Again where they're speaking Sindarin together* That is totally going to be my life.

I was making these icons to use when I post updates of my progress on recreating Susan's Green Archery Dress, and I decided to put them up in case anyone else might want to use any :D

I'd probably give $500,000 to my parents - after all, they've used huge amounts of money on me because of my disease and just for general living. The other half would go to cure research for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).

Oooh this one seems fun.


1) No matter how much it seems the opposite, I am actually very self-conscious and unsure of my looks.. I've never been confident that I'm pretty.
2) I am extremely awkward - for example, I told my best friend that I liked him in sixth grade when it really wasn't required that I had to say that.. I just did for no reason.
3) Ninety percent of the time, I'd rather stay home and sew, and a lot of the time I pretend I'm busy when people ask so that I don't have to go out.

Keep in mind that it'll take me a while to find the fabrics and to draft the patterns for both the Beauxbatons Uniform and Kahlan's Confessor Dress. I already have the fabric for Éowyn's jumper - it's laying on my sewing table, and only needs to be washed before I can start - and I can easily get the fabric for the Slytherin robes. Both of these will need to be drafted also, of course, but they would be significantly easier and quicker to draft than the previous two. So, now that you know this information.. VOTE PLEASE!! :)

Which costume should I work on next?

This is my first fanmix ^_^ ! I actually just discovered them not too long ago, and was immediately obsessed. What a great thing, combining multiple loves: music and books, or television shows, or movies..! Of course, I had to join in.

This is my humble interpretation of what Éowyn goes through during The Two Towers and The Return of the King. Expect fear. Expect sadness. Expect angst. But, also expect love. Expect joy. And expect victory.

Notes: "Look After You" by The Fray is an M4A in the .zip file, which means you probably won't be able to listen to it.. But I made sure that the individual file is an MP3 so that one will work fine :) So you'll need to download that one separately if you're using the .zip file.

Camping!

Already have converted. I began feeling gradually more distant from God, and totally detached from the Roman Catholic Church, around seventh grade. As I looked into it more and more, I discovered an unbelievable amount of things from the Christian religion that had been taken from other, previous religions (one example is the large amount of "saints" that had been gods or goddesses in Pagan religions before they were Christianized to convince more people to convert). It got me thinking: if the majority of a religion is built upon "borrowed" beliefs of OTHER religions, how is it a religion in itself? How can it be real? Not only that, but I found that I didn't agree with the Church's teachings - including the Christian god.

I realized that I didn't believe in the Christian ideas of the devil or hell. I didn't believe in an all-powerful, always-correct god who sat on a throne in the sky. I didn't believe that certain people were "chosen" over others. I didn't believe that the people of one religion were always better than people of others, and I found incredibly hypocrisy that the religion stated this at the same time they preached that all men were created equal under God.

For a while, I had no god or religion. I did believe in some kind of higher power, though, I just wasn't sure which. Eventually I realized, through my friend Niamh, that Paganism was the route for me (let me just clarify that the term "Pagan" means a person who is not Christian, Jewish, or Muslim - it is NOT synonymous with "Wiccan," and that is a religion that I am not a part of). The word Pagan also means "worshipper of the land" - perfect for me! I clarify myself as pantheist (believes the earth is a manifestation of god/goddess) and a soft polytheist (believes all gods and goddesses are manifestations of one god/goddess). And since I converted, I haven't looked back ^_^

I WOULD say the Middle Ages, but I would be married by now and I REALLY wouldn't want to be a sixteen-year-old bride. Probably the Victorian age, because the life of a sixteen-year-old Victorian girl would suit me well. Lots of studying of the arts, primping, wearing pretty clothes, parading around, riding, and then - the grand finale of the teenage years! - getting presented at court in from of Queen Victoria. I think I'd have a ball (heh, literally)!!

Chinese. End of story.

The French pet en l'air - it means "fart in the air" (ahahahah Niamh: "polonaise means fart in the air!" "No it doesn't, polonaise means POLISH or something!") and even something so uncouth as that sounds brilliant in French. (It's not my favourite saying, just a silly one that comes to my mind :D)

I love French. AND SINDARIN - everything sounds better in that language! For example: nostad lín sui orch means "your smell is like an orc" (hahhahahah). The pronunciation is: no-stahd leen soowee (but spoken as one syllable) orch (and the "ch" is like that in German). Even an insult sounds preeeetty!

One of the most irritating things to me is when people fail to realize the amount that they are blessed with in life. They focus on the inconveniences faced, dwell on the downfalls, and wallow in their own self-pity. While this bring down oneself and the others around, it also brings down the quality of life that you have the ability to live. The denial of one's blessings becomes a habit; not only does this affect oneself emotionally and spiritually, but the pangs are physically felt. We feel tired, worn, overworked, and under-appreciated. Frustration dominates our emotions - why can't life go my way? Why am I so unfortunate? Why do other people receive the lucky lot in life?

Well, the simple truth is this: we all have the lucky lot, just not everybody can see that. The people who practice gratitude can see the brilliance of living. Do you eat meals daily? Do you have a place to live and sleep? Do you have clothing to keep you warm? You are blessed. Can you see the beauty of spring? Can you feel the embrace of another person? Can you smell a newly-bloomed flower? You are blessed. Does your body run, jump, stretch, rejoice, or simply walk when you ask it to? You are blessed.

A truly gracious person unconsciously begins to show their gratitude to others in small acts of love. Your assignment for the day? Call your mother. Hug your father. Vocally tell your significant other that you love them instead of letting it be assumed. Gratitude does not require an actual "thank you" in words: it shows itself through acts of affection. Gratitude not only is heard, it is felt.

Let your gratitude be felt today.

NO WAY. OH MY GOD. And I'm sixteen and I don't think this! I'm perfectly fine with not driving right away. I think a LOT - and I mean the majority - of teenagers are much too immature, selfish, and air-headed to be driving. Driving at eighteen instead of sixteen would probably eliminate a multitude of accidents that were caused from teenagers getting sidetracked and not paying attention to the road and to the safety of others when driving.

Let's just face it - teenagers are irresponsible! Except for me, of course ^_^

I ripped about eight inches of my jeans from my butt to mid-thigh on a three-foot fence ^_^ Then I had to ride home on my bike!!

I swear, if anyone answers "Twilight" to this question, I will strangle them each personally.
